Certified Nursing Assistant
Starting pay: $13–$15 per hour, based on experience
Service area: 55 Sgt. Prentiss Drive, Suite 6, Natchez MS 39120 and surrounding communities
Schedule: Day and evening shifts; Monday–Friday options; rotating or as-needed weekends
Help at Home is seeking compassionate, dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home care and support to clients. We offer flexible scheduling, professional development opportunities, and mileage reimbursement for eligible travel.
About the Role
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide hands-on care under RN/LPN supervision and a written plan of care. You will help clients with personal care, mobility, and daily activities while supporting their safety, dignity, and independence at home and in the community.
Qualifications
Active Mississippi CNA status with a listing on the Mississippi Nurse Aide Registry (MSDH).
Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto liability insurance.
Ability to provide client transportation when assigned in the care plan.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Education and Experience
A high school diploma or GED is preferred. No previous work experience is required; active Mississippi CNA status is required.
Responsibilities
Provide safe, respectful hands-on care while protecting client privacy and confidentiality.
Assist with personal care, mobility, and other daily living activities.
Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
Support participation in community activities and provide transportation to appointments as assigned.
Follow the written plan of care and direction from the supervising RN or LPN.
Accurately document care and observations each shift in a timely and complete manner.
Collaborate with the supervising nurse and local office team to maintain quality care and continuity of services.
