Job description
Our client is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care within a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate is friendly, patient-focused, and a strong communicator who works well under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. This is an onsite position based in Westchester County, NY.
Starting at $22/hour.
Certified Nursing Assistant's Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and personal hygiene
Support resident mobility, transfers, and positioning
Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Document care provided in accordance with facility policy
Certified Nursing Assistant's Qualifications and Skills: Active New York State CNA certification
Current BLS/CPR certification
Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred
Ability to work an assigned shift, including nights and weekends as scheduled
Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed
Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
