Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)Full-Time * Sign-On Bonus is $3,000 for Full-Time & $1,500 for Part-Time! Don't have your CNA certification yet? No problem! We'll cover the cost of your CNA certification and provide the training you need to succeed. Pay Range $16.50 - $20.00 + Shift Differential Pay is based on experience and applicable licensure.Employment Type & Schedule:1st Shift (7:00am - 3:30pm)2nd Shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm)3rd Shift (11:00pm - 7:30am)Why Join Resthaven?No mandatory overtimeAgency-free care teamsNOMI Health Insurance Network – $0 copays, $0 deductibles, and $0 coinsurance for full-time employeesTuition reimbursement eligibility after 6 monthsSupportive, mission-driven work cultureCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesMake a meaningful impact in the lives of residents every dayEssential Responsibilities as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):Learn and know individualized care plans for residents and provide services to resident according to care plan.Provide assistance or total care for grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communicating, turning, repositioning, or other needs.Lift, move, and transport residents.Maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity of each resident in the delivery of services.Clean and sanitize workrooms, equipment, and resident units.Ensure compliance with established infection control procedures.Observe, chart, and report changes in resident condition or behavior to appropriate licensed nursing personnel.Answer resident's requests for service promptly.Perform various tasks including vital signs, resident's weights, applying creams/ointments, collecting specimens, etc.Float between all units depending on the need.Assumes all other position related responsibilities as assigned.Education, Training, Experience:High school graduate or successful completion of GED.Successful completion of a Michigan state approved nurse assistant certification course or other education that meets state certification requirements.Must hold current nurse assistant certification in Michigan.Required Licenses, Registration, and/or Certifications:Successful completion of a Michigan state approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or other education that meets state certification requirements.Must hold current nurse assistant certification in Michigan.Physical Requirements:Stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and assist residents throughout your shiftLift up to 50 poundsUse mechanical lifts and clinical equipment safelyMaintain visual acuity and physical stamina required for resident care
