Get the Right Career with Right at Home!JOB SUMMARY - Non-Skilled Home Care ServicesProvides various personal care and related paraprofessional services in accordance with an established plan of care. Provides for the personal needs and comfort of clients in their homes.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPerforms personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):Personal HygieneAmbulationEatingDressingShavingPrepares meals and snacks according to instructionsAccompany patient on errands or medical appointmentsPerforms homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):Assisting with the change of ostomy appliancesReinforcement of dressingsMedication remindersAssisting with the prescribed range of motion exercisesMeasuring and preparing special dietsTaking vital signsIncontinence careSERVICE AREAS: Lake Nona, Meadow Woods, St. Cloud, Kissimmee, Poinciana, Reunion, Championsgate, Celebration and Four CornersQUALIFICATIONSValid HHA Certificate or CNA LicenseCurrent CPR CertificateLevel ll Background CheckValid Driver LicenseReliable CarActive Car InsurancePre-Employment Drug Screening: All candidates who are selected to move forward in the hiring process will be required to complete a pre-employment drug screening. Employment is contingent upon receiving a negative drug test result.
