Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)Edenbrook of Greenwood Hill is seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team in providing high-quality care to our residents. As a CNA you will play a crucial role in supporting the well-being of our residents by assisting them with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)Location: Pottsville PAPay: $19.50 to $22.00 per hourReasons to work at Edenbrook of Greenwood Hill$5,000 Sign on for FT PM and NOC Shift!$2,500 Sign on Bonus for PT PM and NOC Shift!Starting pay between $ /hr., based on experience.Shift Differentials - $2 PMs & $1 NOCsEmployee referral bonuses of $750 paid out after 90 days$5,250 in yearly Tuition Reimbursement/Student loan RepaymentMain responsibilitiesProvides quality care to Guests in a nourishing environment.Provides individualized attention, which encourages each Guest's ability to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.Carry out assignments required for the Guest's activities of daily living (ADL's) which include but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.Attends to individual needs of all Guests in regards to incontinent care, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communication and other needs.Provides care that maintains each Guest's skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers, skin tears and other damage by changing incontinent Guests, turning, repositioning immobile Guests and by applying moisturizers to fragile skin and other areas.Performs various tasks assigned by the floor nurse including checking vital signs, weighing Guests, applying creams/ointments and collecting specimens.Must be knowledgeable of individual care plans and support the care planning process by providing supervisors with specific information and observations of the Guest's needs, preferences and report any behavioral changes.Assists the Wound Care Nurse as directed.Completes medical records documenting care provided and other information in accordance with nursing policies while maintaining strict confidentiality.RequirementsAble to communicate well in both verbal and written formsCommitted to interacting professionally and with care toward residents, families, and other staffBenefitsHealth, Dental and Vision benefitVacation/Holiday/Sick timeSupportive working environment and cultureIf you are a dedicated and compassionate nurse seeking an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors, we invite you to join our team.Edenbrook of Greenwood Hill an equal-opportunity employer and values diversity in the workplace.
