Job description
Skilled Nursing Facility PositionUnder the supervision of the Licensed Nurse and following the Scope of Service, this position will work collaboratively with the other staff members and medical staff to serve the residents of the Skilled Nursing Unit.Essential DutiesProvides quality care for the residents of the Skilled Nursing UnitProvides age-specific and culturally sensitive care to residentsCommunicates clearly and concisely with others to meet residents care needsTakes responsibility for personal and professional growthSupports and participates in hospital wide quality initiativesAdheres to regulatory and compliance standardsQualificationsMinimum Education (or substitute experience) Required:Current California Certified Nursing Assistant certificationBLS certificationMinimum Experience Required:Completion of Certified Nursing courseLicensed nursing school in progress or completionExperience Preferred:Previous Healthcare experience preferred, but not mandatorySkills:Strong interpersonal skillsExcellent verbal, written and listening skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracyBasic computer skillsBear Valley Community Healthcare District Is An Equal Opportunity Employer
