Patient Care TechnicianJob Shift: NightsJob Type: Full TimeUp to $6,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.A Patient Care Technician is responsible and accountable for assisting the RN or LPN to provide patient care by functioning as a unit secretary and a certified nursing assistant (CNA).ResponsibilitiesReports for scheduled shift on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.Attends and participates in meetings and is responsible for information communicated at meetings.Adheres to Corporate, Regional, hospital and departmental policy and procedure 100% of the time.Assists all patients, patients' family members, physicians, visitors and employees in a professional and courteous manner.Follows Infection Control procedures at all times.Adheres to the following environmental care standards.Demonstrates the ability to adapt to varied age-specific patient populations.QualificationsEDUCATION.Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalentEXPERIENCE:Previous patient care and unit secretary experience in an acute care facility preferred.REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) or E.M.T. or documented evidence of successful completion of an accredited nursing school program.Current American Heart Association BLS CertificationOTHER QUALIFICATIONS:None required.About UsBe the heart of compassionate care in a patient care support role with us!
