Join Our Mercyhealth Walworth Emergency DepartmentNow is the time to come join our Mercyhealth Walworth Emergency Department. We are hiring for Full-Time, Part-Time and PRN with a variety of shift options available. All positions are eligible for up to a $10,000 sign on bonus.Our Emergency Department, located on highways 50 & 67 in Lake Geneva, WI, includes the following highlights:Walworth Campus Emergency Department is an 11 bed, 2 trauma Bed Emergency Department and Urgent CareThis campus has applied for level 4 trauma designationASRH (Acute Stroke Ready Hospital) designation, ensuring rapid response for stroke patients24/7 Hospitalist and Emergency physicians in-house24/7 Leadership, shift coordinators and resource nurses on-siteESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProcesses orders and patient charges in an accurate and timely manner.Answers the telephone and call lights in an appropriate and timely manner, providing information or relaying messages to patients and staff.Directs visitors to patients' rooms.Maintains medical records of current patients.Maintains supplies, including scanning, stocking, and ordering new supplies and disposing of expired or damaged supplies.Provides patient care as assigned and per routine, according to standards of care, shift routines, and policies and procedures according to CNA job duties and expectationsDocuments care provided according to standards.Maintains a clean work and patient environment.Floats to various units based on identified needs.Participates in department and unit performance improvement activities.Verifies accuracy of charges enteredFacilitates a welcoming environment assisting with visitor wayfinding.Assemble patient folders and charts for unitRauland responder/Vocera/versus set up for new staffEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCECompletion of a CNA program.CERTIFICATION/LICENSUREWI Nursing Assistant Certification is required.Approved CPR within 90 days.LEVEL OF SUPERVISIONResponsibilities include interviewing, and training CNAs; planning, assigning, and directing work.PAY RANGE:$18.65 - $27.04Mercyhealth is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
