Job description
Certified Nursing AssistantAs a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing quality care to our patients and assisting them with their daily activities.ResponsibilitiesAssist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toiletingMonitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staffHelp patients with mobility and transfer them to and from beds, wheelchairs, or stretchersServe meals and assist patients with eatingMaintain a clean and safe environment for patientsDocument patient care and report any concerns to the nursing staffRequirementsCurrent Nursing Assistant certification from state ORIf currently attending a CNA class working toward certification – may not work non-certified for more than four (4) months.Current/active CPR certificationHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate and patient-focused approach to careAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic computer skillsPhysical and Sensory RequirementsConsiderable physical activity:Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to fifty (50) or more pounds.
