nPay Range: $18.30-$21.96

nSign On Bonus - $1,500

nPosition Purpose: The Certified Nurse Assistant is responsible for providing various care services to meet the personal needs, support, and health status of participants.

nWhat You Will Do:

nnnProvide personal care assistance to maintain participants' independence in activities of daily living, including toileting, showers, eating, and grooming.

n

nnAssist participants in maintaining physical activity, exercise, and walking.

n

nnOffer behavioral supervision or support, including reality orientation, medication reminders, dietary restrictions, and emotional reassurance.

n

nnAssist with general activities such as conversing with participants, recreation activities, meal and snack serving, and housekeeping.

n

n nMinimum Qualifications:

nnnHigh school diploma or equivalent required.

n

nnActive certification as a Nurse Assistant in Maryland

n

nnValid driver’s license and use of personal vehicle required for home care assignments.

n

nnExperience in a long-term care facility or community-based geriatric program preferred.

n

nnMinimum of one (1) year of documented experience working with a frail or elderly population, or appropriate training from PACE organization upon hiring.

n

nnStrong conflict management and customer service skills, adaptable to changing work priorities.

n

nnProficiency with Microsoft Office suite and electronic mail/calendar systems.

n

nnAbility to engage in physical tasks such as kneeling, crouching, reaching, lifting, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
