Job description
Nurse AssistantThe Nurse Assistant is responsible for assisting in the care of patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or LPN. They perform custodial tasks and assist with nursing duties in caring for patients in the inpatient Unit. They perform direct and indirect patient care activities according to established policies and procedures, observe and report changes in patient conditions, and maintain a safe and clean patient and environment. Unit Director may assign to serve as Preceptor for the unit.Position QualificationsEducation:* High School Diploma or GED or transcript preferredExperience:* One year of Nurse Assistant experience in a healthcare environment preferredLicenses/Certificates:* BLS/CPR certification renewed by the recommended renewal date.
