Job description
Job TitlePay $17.75/hr Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist staff as necessary and according to the level of certification or training achieved. Receive medical supplies and store them properly. Provide accurate documentation and inventory. Interpret prescription requests and enter information into log; create labels and Medication Administration Records. Ensure medical supply cart, trauma bag, the PPE room and the facility first aid kits are fully and accurately stocked at all times. Submit order forms for medical and office supplies, under supervision of Registered Nurse and Physician. Assist with maintenance of the Sick Call, Chronic Clinic, and Specialty Logs. Provide patient care according to nurse or physician instructions and appropriate to level of certification. Perform 15-minute checks on identified patients and document encounters. It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.Required Knowledge Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Certified Nursing Assistant and/or Certified Med Aide Basic clerical skills, basic healthcare skillsPhysical Requirements: The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
