Certified Nursing AssistantNeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.Facility located in Northridge (San Fernando Valley)Full-time DAY shift; 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM2 week set schedule - see below12-hour shifts (every shift includes 4 hours of overtime pay)Salary range: $18.50-$21.00 per hour, based on experienceBlended salary range (8 hours base pay + 4 hours overtime pay): $21.58-$24.50 per hourBenefits package available for full-time employees (medical, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, HSA/FSA accounts and more)Set scheduleWeek 1: Sunday, Wednesday and ThursdayWeek 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and SaturdayRepeatNorthridge, CANeuroRestorative facility located on Texhoma Ave.CLHF (Congregate Living Health Facility)6-bed facilityLow patient ratiosOn demand pay via Dayforce WalletWe are currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant who is kind, hardworking and dedicated to helping us provide compassionate, gentle care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an inpatient or long-term care facility and is capable of providing Activities of Daily Living such as helping patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and recreational activities, as well as documenting care and taking vital signs. The successful candidate for this position enjoys working with individuals with special needs and having the opportunity to make a true difference in their lives.Responsibilities:Provide basic bedside care such as assisting the patient in moving to and from bed and ensuring that the patient's condition is monitored properly with consistent assessmentsAssist patients with dressing or bathing as directed by the supervising nurse.Observe patients and report changes to the nurseProvide basic support to convalescing patientsAssist with mobility exercises and range of motion activitiesQualifications:Completion of CNA certification program AND current California CNA certificationOne year CNA experience preferred, ideally experience with medically complex patientsCurrent in CPR for Healthcare ProviderAbility to effectively communicate with staff, residents, and familiesA reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approachCome join our amazing team of committed and caring professionals.
