nJob Summary
nWe are looking for kind and compassionate Home Health Aides (HHA) to join our team of professional healthcare staff. You will assist patients with daily tasks while making a meaningful difference in their lives. This position involves providing care across diverse healthcare settings, including home care, long term care, acute, sub-acute, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient facilities, and assisted living facilities. Assist patients short term while making a long lasting impact!
nJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem, PRN
nResponsibilities
nYou will assist with one or more of the following on each shift:
nAssist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
nMeal Prep: Planning, cooking, and feeding according to specific dietary restrictions.
nAssisting with transportation for errands, doctor’s visit, outings etc.
nProvide emotional support and companionship to patients.
nHelp maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
nMonitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
nAssist with mobility and transportation of patients within the facility.
nCommunicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient needs and changes in condition.
nSkills
nDementia experience required in order to understand patient needs effectively.
nProficiency in using electronic health record systems is preferred.
nFamiliarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy is maintained.
nExperience in home care, nursing homes or hospice care settings is a plus.
nCertification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is highly desirable.
nCompassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
nAbility to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
nEnsure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
nDocument patient care activities accurately using electronic health record systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks.
