About the Role:
nEllis House LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our home care team in Clinton, MD. nResponsibilities:
nProvide direct patient care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene assistance
nMonitor and record patient vital signs, health status, and changes in condition
nAssist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety
nSupport patients with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs
nPerform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe home environment for clients
nCommunicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and healthcare team members regarding patient care
nProvide companionship and emotional support to promote patient well-being
nRequirements:
nActive and valid CNA certification in the state of Maryland
nPrior experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care preferred
nStrong knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and personal care procedures
nReliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in the Clinton, MD area
nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills
nCompassionate, patient, and professional demeanor with a client-first attitude
nAbility to pass a background check and meet all state home care requirements
