Job description

Certified Nursing AssistantResCare Community Living, a part of the Sevita family, provides quality services that empower individuals, enhance independence, and help people live well. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will perform hands-on nursing care with an emphasis on daily care needs and personal hygiene.Monitor the health conditions of individuals served and ensure quality services providedProvide assistance and/or supervision to individuals in the areas of daily living, personal care, and community/social integrationHelp maintain safe and quality supports for individuals servedInitiate emergency procedures on a needed basisUse equipment correctly and safelyReport any hazardous conditions, equipment, accidents, or incidents to supervisorMaintain current progress notes and any other appropriate documentationAssist with resident activity programs, including off-site outings and off-site appointmentsAssist with household activitiesAssist in keeping residence tidy and cleanAssist with meal preparation and mealtimesPrepare rooms for admissions of new residents, obtaining equipment and supplies as neededPrepare residents for dischargeActively attend and participate in team meetings and training as requiredMaintain confidentiality and treat others with dignity and respect in all you doQualifications:High School diploma or G.E.D.Completion of CNA certification program; Current CNA certification issued by state relevant to the position.One year CNA experience preferred, ideally experience with medically complex patientsCurrent in Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, and First Aid certificationsAbility to effectively communicate with staff, residents, and familiesA reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approachA commitment to quality in everything you doWhy Join Us:Competitive pay rates; paid time off, Holiday Pay, and benefits for full-time employees.Career development and advancement opportunitiesPaid classroom and on-the-job trainingA dynamic work environment where no day is ever the same as the nextEnjoy complex work that makes a difference in the lives of those we serveCareer development and advancement opportunities across a nationwide networkEmployee Referral Program bonus opportunities for eligible rolesCome join our team of dedicated and caring professionals.
