Certified Nursing Assistant at Charter HouseCharter House is Mayo Clinic's retirement community located in the heart of downtown Rochester, Minnesota. Here, nurses play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and creating meaningful connections with residents and families.Responsibilities include:Assisting with activities of daily living, and promoting the highest practicable level of physical, mental and psychosocial well-being for the resident.Working awareness of state and federal regulations.Providing direct care duties in a timely manner, while interacting politely and professionally with residents, family members, visitors, and staff.Cross training to float to other areas of Charter House.Qualifications:To be considered for this position, you must be listed on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry as a Certified Nursing Assistant and be a minimum of 18-years old.License/Certification:Nursing Assistant Certification required and must be listed on the MN Nursing Assistant Registry.Additional Qualifications:Previous experience with the geriatric population is preferred.Ability to work independently.Excellent communication and human relation skills to interact with residents and staff.Strong problem-solving skills.Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations and stress.Availability to work varied hours which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends with rotating days off.Application Requirements:All required documents must be attached to your application for consideration:CV/ResumeCover LetterInternal candidates must also attach their three most recent performance appraisals.Internal candidates who have not met their current department's 1- or 2-year commitment, must attach an early release from their current supervisor.Exemption Status: Nonexempt Compensation Detail: $20.00 - $27.92 / hour; Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. Benefits Eligible: Yes Schedule: Part Time Hours/Pay Period: 40 Schedule Details: Design your own work week - self-scheduling available! This position is for 8-hour night shifts, 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. The orientation for this position requires two weeks of full-time, 8-hour day shifts: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
