This contract position is ideal for a compassionate and experienced CNA with demonstrated experience caring for residents with dementia and/or significant cognitive impairment in a nursing home or hospital setting.Why Join Us?Competitive Compensation: Earn a competitive rate of $27 per hour.Comprehensive Benefits: 40 hours of sick leave per year and $500 Sign-On Bonus.Work Schedule: 2 evening shifts during the week and every other weekend.Professional Growth: Gain valuable experience in dementia care within a skilled nursing environment, working alongside a collaborative and supportive healthcare team.Impactful Work: Contribute to a mission-driven organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents with dementia and cognitive impairments through compassionate, patient-centered care.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding, specifically tailored to residents with dementia.Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions, including vital signs, behavior, and overall well-being, to the nursing team.Ensure resident safety and comfort during evening shifts, responding promptly to call lights and resident needs.Implement dementia-specific care techniques to reduce agitation, promote engagement, and maintain a calm and supportive environment.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent injury and promote resident independence.Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.Greenlife Healthcare Staffing - Empowering Healthcare Professionals, Enriching Lives
