Southwest Montana Veteran's Home is currently searching for a talented in-house Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team!

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Job Responsibilities
Evaluate a Resident's condition and develop an appropriate OT rehabilitation plan.
Help Residents to improve their mobility.
Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
Inform Residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation.
Maintain Resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by protecting Residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Requirements Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing with state employed.
Minimum 1 year experience working as a COTA.
Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus!
Must be able to pass a background check.
