nGallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. nCertified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Responsibilities:
nnnAssist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans for residents
n
nnProvide therapy services to help patients regain independence in daily living activities
n
nnDocument treatment sessions accurately and timely in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
n
nnMonitor and report patient progress or concerns to the Occupational Therapist
n
nnMaintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment
n
nnCollaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
n
nnUphold all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures
n
n nCertified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Qualifications:
nnnCurrent Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Tennessee
n
nnGraduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
n
nnExperience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
n
nnStrong communication and interpersonal skills
n
nnCompassionate, patient-focused approach to care
n
nnAbility to work independently and as part of a team
n
