Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Full-Time
Autumn Lake at Birch Manor | Sykesville, MD
$33-$38/hour | Full-Time | Benefits
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Birch Manor. This full-time position is a great opportunity to provide hands-on therapy while helping residents strengthen everyday skills and work toward greater independence.
What You'll Do
Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, balance, and functional tasks
Carry out individualized treatment programs established by the supervising OT
Monitor resident response to therapy and communicate progress to the clinical team
Reinforce adaptive techniques, equipment use, and safety strategies
Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation
Work closely with nursing and other rehabilitation professionals

Qualifications
Active Maryland Occupational Therapy Assistant license required
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
New graduate COTAs are welcome to apply
