Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)Position on a 13-week local travel contract in Rapid City, South Dakota, offering up to $1,800 per week. The role supports occupational therapists in delivering individualized care and promotes community engagement in the Black Hills region.Key Responsibilities:Assist occupational therapists in implementing individualized treatment plansSupport patients in developing or regaining daily living and work skillsMonitor and document patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy teamProvide hands-on care under the direction of the supervising OTEducate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and home programsEnsure compliance with facility policies and safety proceduresQualifications:Associate's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant programActive South Dakota COTA license or eligibility to obtainNBCOT certificationCurrent BLS certificationPreferred Skills:Previous experience in a clinical or rehab setting
