Full Time Certified Occupational Therapy AssistantSangre de Cristo Community Care is looking for a Full Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team in our La Junta office located in beautiful South Eastern Colorado. Serving a variety of patients across Southern Colorado, including pediatric patients and those with developmental disabilities, Sangre de Cristo Community Care is known for delivering exceptional high-quality compassionate care with a strong team of local health care professionals, including skilled nursing, physical therapy and occupational therapy, providing a seamless opportunity for high-quality hospice, palliative care, and home health services to residents in southern Colorado.Why you'll love working with us:Build meaningful connections with patients and families during their most important momentsThrive in a dynamic, supportive team environment with autonomy in the fieldOpportunities for professional growth and developmentCompetitive salary- $29/hr minimumHigh mileage reimbursementOn-Demand payExceptional benefit package to include health, dental, vision, life insurance, road side assistance, 403 BGenerous Paid Time Off accrual, floating holidays, 6 paid holidaysCareer & logo wear with dedicated company storeTuition reimbursementResponsibilities:Provides therapy under the treatment plans and supervision of the licensed Occupational Therapist.Completes visit notes accurately and timely.Reviews patient's injury/diagnosis and takes necessary precautions for observing indications and contraindications.Keeps the supervising therapist informed of patient status, problem areas, progress, etc.Qualifications:Must be at least 21 years of age.Successful completion of an Associate Degree from an Occupational Therapy Assistant accredited program and shall at minimum possess a current certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBOT).Prefer experience with physical rehabilitation either through educational affiliations or prior work associations.Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Colorado.Must have a valid non-restricted driver's license.Flexibility and availability to work a weekend schedule if needed.Two years of appropriate experience as a COTA.Willing to visit patients throughout Otero and surrounding counties.The key to our success is our dynamic team of compassionate, dedicated, and experienced individuals.
