nAbout the Role
nAs a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain independence and improve their overall quality of life. In this per diem position, you will work closely with our occupational therapists to design and implement tailored therapy plans that address the unique needs of each patient. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping patients build strength, improve mobility, and develop the skills necessary to successfully manage daily activities.
nResponsibilities
nnnAssist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans
n
nnConduct occupational therapy treatments and interventions under the supervision of an occupational therapist
n
nnEvaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
n
nnCommunicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
n
nnMaintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress
n
n nRequirements
nnnCertified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) certification
n
nnStrong communication and interpersonal skills
n
nnAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
n
nnFlexibility to work per diem shifts, including evenings and weekends
n
