RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assisting in treating the evaluations created by OT and providing appropriate treatment to reach goals for residents
• Continued support of goal achievement
• Helping patients in their restoration of wellness and independence
• Communication with other personnel involved in the patient's care to promote a coordinated care plan
• The application of various therapeutic techniques to help achieve goals
REQUIREMENTS
• Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant curriculum approved by the American Occupational Therapy Associates
• Certified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of Pennsylvania
• Long-term care experience preferred
