Job Summary
A Contract position (Day (5x8) shift) is currently open for a qualified Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Chowchilla, CA. Essential responsibilities include: assist patients in practicing daily living skills, cognitive exercises, and upper-extremity activities, instruct patients in using adaptive equipment such as dressing aids, utensils, and transfer boards, and document daily therapy notes, progress towards functional milestones, and resident feedback, as well as coordinating effectively with interdisciplinary medical staff. Requirements include active professional licensure, applicable healthcare experience, and adherence to patient privacy and safety standards.
