Key Qualifications:
Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in California
Previous experience in a school setting or pediatric population preferred
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Ability to follow individualized education programs (IEPs) and support customized student goals
Detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about making an impact in students' daily lives
Core Responsibilities: Assist supervising Occupational Therapists in delivering therapy services to students, both one-on-one and in small groups
Implement and document therapeutic activities as outlined in students' IEPs
Support the development of fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills in the classroom
Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to foster a supportive learning environment
Maintain accurate records and progress reports following school district protocols
