Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)Come join the team at WeCare Centers!WeCare Centers at Sugar Creek Care Center is actively seeking a motivated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for our community in Franklin, PA!Key ResponsibilitiesWork in collaboration with the OT to establish a rehabilitation plan.Consult with the rehabilitation team to choose effective activity programs.Coordinate occupational therapy with other types of therapeutic activities.Follow guidance of OTR/L in selecting therapy activities to fit Residents' needs and capabilities.Assist Residents in carrying out daily activities.Teach Residents how to use special equipment to assist with daily function.Report the Resident's progress to the OTR/L.Responsibly and accurately document treatments and outcomes in rehab software.Assist in educating patients with home exercise programs and use of equipment.Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseGraduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.Certification as Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of PA.Knowledge of principles, methods, and equipment used in occupational therapy.BenefitsHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceVoluntary BenefitsSame Day Pay401k with discretionary matchEAPWe reward hard working and caring professionals with competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities!About WeCare CentersAt WeCare Centers, we believe in not only providing exceptional care for our residents but also ensuring a supportive and enriching environment for our team.
