nWhat You’ll Do
nProvide skilled occupational therapy services under the direction of the supervising Occupational Therapist
nImplement individualized treatment plans to improve patients’ ability to perform activities of daily living safely and independently
nEducate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, energy conservation, and home safety
nCommunicate patient progress and changes in condition with the supervising Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary care team
nComplete accurate and timely documentation while maintaining Medicare and agency standards
nQualifications
nCurrent Florida Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
nValid driver’s license and reliable transportation
nExcellent communication and organizational skills
nHome health experience preferred, but not required
nExperience with WellSky or another home health EMR is a plus
