Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Valid certification as a COTA
Current licensure in the state of California (or eligible to obtain)
Experience working with children or in school settings is highly valued
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Compassionate and patient personality, ready to support diverse needs
Key Responsibilities: Assist in planning and implementing occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
Work one-on-one or in small groups to support students' fine motor, sensory, and self-help skills
Keep detailed records of student progress and activities
Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to help students achieve their IEP goals
Modify activities and environments to ensure student participation and inclusion
Support the overall well-being and growth of students through creative and adaptive strategies
