Job description
Take your Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) skills to the next level by working with a dedicated team serving students near Midlothian, VA! Key Qualifications:
Active COTA license (or eligibility for licensure) required
Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Collaborative approach with teachers, therapists, and families
Ability to develop and implement treatment plans under supervision of an Occupational Therapist
Flexibility, adaptability, and a student-centered mindset
Core Responsibilities: Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
Assist with student evaluations and documentation of progress toward IEP goals
Participate in student support or IEP meetings as needed
Provide therapy in both individual and small group settings
Collaborate with faculty and staff for integrated classroom engagement and support
Maintain organized records and uphold confidentiality standards
