Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Pediatrics & Orthopedics
Location: Cheyenne, WY Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Setting: Outpatient
Schedule
Monday-Friday
Clinic Hours: 7:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Flexible Full-Time or Part-Time schedule
No evenings, weekends, or on-call
Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a busy outpatient rehabilitation clinic treating pediatric and orthopedic patients. Working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will provide hands-on therapy, implement individualized treatment plans, educate patients and families, and help patients improve their functional independence.

Upper Extremity & Hand Therapy
Key Responsibilities
Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
Provide one-on-one occupational therapy treatments.
Manage approximately 50-60 patient visits per week.
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
Associate's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Current or eligible Wyoming COTA license/certification.
Strong communication and patient care skills.
Interest or experience in Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Upper Extremity, or Hand Therapy.
