Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Full-TimeMarlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, a 186-bed skilled nursing facility, is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dedicated care team.
Job Summary:
As a COTA, you will assist in the provision of occupational therapy services to our patients under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist. You will be responsible for collecting assessment data, providing direct treatment to a general rehab caseload, and participating in clinical program development.Weekly pay up to $35 an hour.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the provision of occupational therapy services to patients with a range of diagnoses and needsCollect assessment data and develop treatment plans under the direction of an Occupational TherapistProvide direct treatment to patients, including individual and group therapy sessionsParticipate in clinical program development and implementationDocument activities and treatment plans accurately and in a timely mannerCollaborate with Occupational Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and caregivers to ensure high-quality patient careDemonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and promoting a positive work environmentRequirements:Associate degree in occupational therapy assistant from an accredited programCurrent licensure by the applicable state agencyCEU's per state licensure requirementsTwo (2) years of clinical experience preferred, but newly licensed COTAs welcome to apply!
