Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Full-Time
nMarlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, a 186-bed skilled nursing facility, is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dedicated care team.
nJob Summary:
nAs a COTA, you will assist in the provision of occupational therapy services to our patients under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist. You will be responsible for collecting assessment data, providing direct treatment to a general rehab caseload, and participating in clinical program development.
nWeekly pay up to $35 an hour.
nResponsibilities:
nnnAssist in the provision of occupational therapy services to patients with a range of diagnoses and needs
n
nnCollect assessment data and develop treatment plans under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
n
nnProvide direct treatment to patients, including individual and group therapy sessions
n
nnParticipate in clinical program development and implementation
n
nnDocument activities and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner
n
nnCollaborate with Occupational Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and caregivers to ensure high-quality patient care
n
nnDemonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and promoting a positive work environment
n
n nRequirements:
nnnAssociate degree in occupational therapy assistant from an accredited program
n
nnCurrent licensure by the applicable state agency
n
nnCEU's per state licensure requirements
n
nnTwo (2) years of clinical experience preferred, but newly licensed COTAs welcome to apply!
