Job Description:
Allegria Nursing & Rehab is currently seeking a COTA to work for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Port Jefferson Station, NY
Responsibilities:
Assist residents in carrying out daily activities
Monitor Resident's performance in therapy activities, providing encouragement
Teach residents how to use special equipment to assist with daily function
Work in collaboration with the OT to establish a rehabilitation plan
Experience in Long Term Care setting preferred
Requirements/Qualifications:
A graduate of an accredited COTA program
NYS licensed
Education
Entry Level (0-2 years)
