nWoodhaven Nursing Home is currently seeking a COTA to work for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Port Jefferson Station, NY
nResponsibilities:
nnAssist residents in carrying out daily activities
nMonitor Resident's performance in therapy activities, providing encouragement
nTeach residents how to use special equipment to assist with daily function
nWork in collaboration with the OT to establish a rehabilitation plan
nExperience in Long Term Care setting preferred
n nRequirements/Qualifications:
nnA graduate of an accredited COTA program
nNYS licensed
n Education
n nEntry Level (0-2 years)
nn Experience
n nAssociates Degree
