Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)AvaMed Workforce is a Healthcare Staffing Agency that staffs healthcare providers all over California. At the moment we are in need of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to take on a Full-Time assignment at a facility located in Galt, CA.Position Details:40 Hours per weekLocation: Galt, CASchedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pmRate: $50/hrWeekly PayJob Description:Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and adhere to facility documentation guidelinesRecord treatments given and progress notes in medical recordAssist in maintaining departmentParticipate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation ConferencesAssist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment areaCommunicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, problems and plans.Participate in training programs for other staff in the facilityRecord treatment charges per the facility policy and proceduresInstruct patient's families or nursing staff in maintenance programIf you are interested, please submit a copy of your resume and a member of our team will reach out to you ASAP.
