Job description
A beautiful, privately owned skilled nursing facility located in Massena is looking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Salary: $25/HR to $35/HR - Based On Experience
Responsibilities:
Evaluates and provides family oriented services to the home health patient with neurological, musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and cardio-pulmonary impairments; fine motor, sensory motor, and developmental delays; as well as traumatic injuries and swallowing disorders
Providing initial and ongoing assessment to determine level of functioning.
Preparing clinical progress notes.
Evaluating outcomes.
Planning Discharge.
Qualifications: Occupational Therapist license preferred
Must have prior experience as an OT or COTA
Must have experience in long term care
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Actively looking for ways to help people
