Position Summary
Under the direction of a Registered Occupational Therapist, the COTA delivers patient treatments, performs selected tests and measurements, maintains accurate documentation, and ensures equipment is functioning correctly. This role provides care for patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics and requires clinical competency and strong communication.
Qualifications
Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential (AOTA)
State licensure as required by Massachusetts law
1 year of experience preferred, but not required
