The Arc Madison Cortland Occupational Therapy AssistantThe Arc Madison Cortland is looking for a motivated individual to join our team! This is a Part Time opportunity, maximum 29.5 hours per week.Provide services under the direct supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.Certified occupational therapy assistant with appropriate NYS license/eligibility. Valid NYS driver's license with approved driving history.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Assist in providing occupational therapy for individuals evaluated by the occupational therapist and in conjunction with OT treatment planFollow the treatment plan established by the OT and approved by individual's physicianWork in conjunction with the individual's physician and therapist in course of treatment.Educate/train ancillary staff members on treatment planCompletes all necessary documentation and billing forms on a daily basis as required.Provides therapy in functional, prevocational, vocational, homemaking skills, and activities of daily living.The Arc of Madison Cortland is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
