Job DescriptionThis position is part of Healthlink at our Stone Oak location. This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. Performs patient treatments as indicated by the treatment plan. Documents treatments given, including frequent and objective measurements. Works with neonatal through geriatric patients with clinical competency. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.QualificationsMINIMUM EDUCATION: Associates Degree in Occupational Therapist Assistant. Active U.S. military service members or veterans with any military service, training or education verified and credited by an accredited COTA program is acceptable. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: No previous work experience needed. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Previous COTA experience in inpatient/outpatient setting REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State license REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.
