Job description
Encompass Health is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support patients in our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. In this role, you’ll implement individualized OT treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, focusing on restoring function, safety, and independence after stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic conditions, and other serious illnesses. Responsibilities include facilitating therapeutic exercises and ADL training, documenting patient progress, educating patients and families, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and supporting a safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care environment.
