nUnder the supervision of a licensed clinician, the COTA (Occupational Therapist Assistant) will treat patients who have difficulty performing work and daily living activities due to injuries, illness, and disabilities. The OTA will work collaboratively with a team that includes other clinicians across disciplines, nurses, and providers to create the best possible outcome for our patients. This role works in acute care with patients from surgical, medical, intensive care and inpatient rehab.

nSetting & Population Served
nProvidence St. Mary Medical Center facilities operate as a rural community hospital that provide:
nnnMedical and Surgical Units
n
nnIntensive Care Unit
n
nnInpatient Rehab Facility – CARF certified 8 bed unit
n
nnEmergency and Same Day Surgery
n
nnA diverse patient population including individuals with orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-acute needs
n
n nAs a therapy professional, you will help patients achieve functional progress and improve quality of life within a supportive, patient-centered environment.
nWage Range: $29.56 - $45.88

nShift Details: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Day shift
nRequired Qualifications:
nnnEducation to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
n
nnWashington Occupational Therapy Assistant License upon hire.
n
nnNational Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
n
n nPreferred Qualifications:
nnnCertified with AOTA upon hire.
n
nnRecent applicable clinical experience.

nPosted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
