Certified Occupational Therapy AssistantWilkes-Barre 110 S Pennsylvania Blvd - Wilkes Barre, PA 18701OverviewPosition Type Per DiemDescriptionPurpose of this position: The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will complete treatments for pediatric clients in the outpatient setting under the direction of the Occupational Therapist (OT). The COTA will be responsible for developing and providing interventions for individuals experiencing challenges in their occupational performance with deficit areas such as activities of daily living skills, play, leisure, sleep/rest, social participation, and sensory processing. Individuals who the COTA may provide treatment to include clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit-Disorder, Attention-Deficit-Hyperactivity-Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, feeding concerns, and sensory processing difficulties.
