Our Mission: to advance and redefine healthcare.PRN Benefits:Sick Leave401(k) immediate enrollment with matchReferral Bonus ProgramRequired Qualifications:Current state licensure as an Occupational TherapistExperience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferredMust pass a criminal background checkPossess strong communication and interpersonal skillsMust have the patience, empathy, and compassion needed to care for elderly patientsAbility to work cooperatively with other healthcare professionalsMajor Duties and Responsibilities:Proved direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.Administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.Document and record the patients' condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method.Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve daily living skills and promote overall health.Collaborate with physicisans, nurses,and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.Participate in patenet care meetings and contribute to team discussions on best practices and treatement outcomes.Disclaimer:Vierra Communities provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
