Certified Patient Care Tech - MedSurg
The Patient Care Technician assists patients with activities of daily living and selective procedures delegated and communicated by the licensed nurse. These activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard free, clean environment which facilitates patient focused care.

This role is an onsite position and will report onsite daily as scheduled.
This role requires for you to be located within a commutable distance of our office location listed below:
Texas: Lubbock
Flexible and available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on departmental needs and operational requirements.

Shift length: 12 hours
7am - 7pm or 5:30am - 5:30pm; weekends and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Combined equivalent experience and certification needed for function and level, or current graduate of state approved PCT program (CPCT).
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Upon hire: National Certified Patient Care Technician - National Association for Health Professionals, or
Upon hire: National Certified Patient Care Technician - National Center for Competency Testing, or
Upon hire: National Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant - National Healthcareer Association
Preferred Qualifications:
H.S. Diploma or GED
6 months PCT experience in an acute care setting.
6 months Phlebotomy experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
