Position Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Peer Support Specialists (CPSS) who are established in their own mental health or substance use recovery. This role provides recovery-based peer support, guidance, and encouragement to clients, helping them build independence, social connections, and successful participation in their communities.

Key Responsibilities
Provide peer support grounded in personal recovery experience.
Empower clients with self-help strategies and coping tools.
Assist clients with referrals to housing, social services, and community resources.
Help clients build social skills and confidence for community engagement.
Support clients in achieving personal goals and independence.

Qualifications
North Carolina Peer Support Certification (NC CPSS) required prior to hire.
Minimum of 2 years in personal recovery from mental health or substance use challenges.
· High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle.
Access to a smartphone, laptop, etc. for communication and documentation purposes.
