Job description
Pharmacy Technician I | Community Health Pharmacy | $21.43–$31.07/hour
Earn $21.43–$31.07 per hour, depending on experience, in a pharmacy role that combines prescription preparation with direct patient support. WSi Healthcare Personnel is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician I to support pharmacists and help patients coordinate their medications in a community health setting.
Pay
$21.43–$31.07/hour, depending on experience
Schedule
Work 4–5 days per week, Monday through Friday
Pharmacy hours: 8:15 a.m.–6 p.m.
One-hour lunch break
No weekends or on-call requirements
What You'll Do
Enter new prescriptions and refills accurately, identifying missing information or obvious discrepancies for follow-up
Prepare prescription labels and medications for pharmacist verification, including counting tablets and capsules and reconstituting medications
Support medication synchronization by coordinating refill schedules and requesting prescription renewals
Assist patients with prescription pickup, process payments, and route phone calls appropriately
Process renewal and prior authorization requests for delivery to providers
Maintain medication inventory, check expiration dates, receive orders, and identify items for replenishment
Package prescriptions for delivery to satellite clinics and prepare clinic medication stock orders
Use pharmacy systems and automated counting equipment to support accurate prescription processing
