nWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia care team. The CRNA will be responsible for administering intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain during surgical procedures, obstetrical deliveries, or other medical and dental procedures. Potentially administers anesthesia to all ages and A.S.A. classes of patients, including geriatrics and pediatrics. Provides airway management services as needed throughout the hospital.
nWork-Life:
nnThe Department of Anesthesiology has over 50 CRNAs and 15 Senior Staff Physicians. We offer a
n nteam approach atmosphere . CRNA practice is open to general, regional and invasive line placement opportunities.
nnnHFG is a level 2 trauma center with 23 OR’s providing the following services: Cardiac, Thoracic, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, General, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, and Pediatrics.

nnWe provide anesthesia services off-site in Endoscopy suites, Cath Lab, Radiology (Cat Scan, MRI) and OB.
n
nnFlexible scheduling: 8, 10, 12, 16 hour shifts available
n
n nKey Responsibilities:
nnnConduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop tailored anesthesia care plans.
n
nnAdminister anesthesia (general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care) in collaboration with surgeons and other healthcare providers.
n
nnMonitor patients during procedures and manage any anesthesia-related complications.
n
nnProvide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
n
nnMaintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
n
nnCurrent RN license and CRNA certification (NBCRNA).
n
nnMaster’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
n
nnExcellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
n
nnGraduation from an accredited school of anesthesia.
n
nnAbility to work harmoniously in collaborative situations with anesthesiologists and other health care providers.

n nCertifications/Licensures Required and maintains currency of:
n• Clinical Privileges • State of Michigan RN License • State Specialty Certification • CRNA Certification • ALS Certification • BLS Certification
