Job Id: A-CRNA-69966 Profession: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Specialty: CRNA - General Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Dayton, OH Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing Shift Schedule: Mon - Fri, or (8 or 10 hour shifts) Reason for Coverage: Expansion Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance Not Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Neonatal and pediatric patients Average Daily Volume: 1-15 surgical cases per day Case Mix: Pediatric surgical cases (multiple specialties) FACILITY INFORMATION Trauma Level: Level 1 Specialty Backup Available: Pediatric Anesthesiology Support Staff Available: Physicians, Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, Nursing staff PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 60-90 days JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC in Nurse Anesthesia (NBCRNA) Licenses: Active Ohio License or willingness to obtain; CRNA certification Certifications: NBCRNA, AANA, BLS, PALS Experience: New grads welcome; pediatric experience preferred Other Qualifications: BSN, graduation from accredited AANA program, strong communication, customer service, basic computer skills, manual dexterity Duties & Responsibilities Develop and implement anesthesia care plans for neonatal and pediatric patients. Perform pre-operative assessments and formulate anesthesia plans. Administer anesthesia induction, maintenance, and emergence. Collaborate with pediatric anesthesiologists and surgical teams. Provide advanced clinical expertise and critical thinking in patient care.
